Our pub has spot-on bookable spaces for all manner of get-togethers. Ranging from meetings with colleagues to birthday parties with friends. Drinks & nibbles, or more formal sit-down dining – our attentive team will be on hand to make sure everything goes to plan. Cheers to that.
As you enter our restaurant, you will be greeted by our Noble room – a vintage-inspired dining room, with an open kitchen that allows you to watch our chefs at work
Named after Miss Sybil Starr, a licensee of the Home Cottage for 39 years from 1939, the Starr room is a versatile, vibrant space ideal for meetings and birthday parties.
The Stevens Room is perfectly suited to larger gatherings such as birthday parties, engagement ‘do’s and family events. The area allows for formal dinners or a more relaxed celebratory party with all your loved ones.
I found this venue by chance and I am so glad I did. I was struggling to find somewhere to accommodate my son’s birthday party until I found The Home Cottage. The communication from the team was fantastic from start to finish. The function room was absolutely perfect to hold his party. They were very attentive, made my son, my family and his friends feel so welcome. A fantastic pub with a great atmosphere.

There’s no on-site parking, but we’re spoilt for choice with local car parks. Or take the train if you can. It’s on our doorstep (and better for the environment.)
Absolutely. From one-to-one chats in the bar, to larger scale meetings – we’ve got spaces to host any type of business get-together.
We’ve got lots of choice when it comes to (large or small) meals at the Home Cottage. Our private bookable spaces are perfect for larger groups and are divided from other diners by glass, retaining all that lovely natural daylight.
